Breast Cancer Statistics in Virginia

  • Approximately 8,180 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year.
  • Approximately 1,160 women will die from breast cancer this year.
  • Sixty-six percent of breast cancer cases are diagnosed at the localized stage.
  • Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in women.
  • Over four million women are living with a history of breast cancer.
  • Breast cancer is the #2 cancer killer of women, behind lung cancer.
  • 1 in 8 women (13%) will develop breast cancer in her lifetime.
  • Breast cancer is most commonly diagnosed among middle-aged and older women, but 54% of breast cancers are diagnosed in women younger than sixty-five.

NOON: Shotgun Start

FEES:  $125 per player  /  $500 per team
